As described on the course front page this course runs physically with attendance at Aalborg University, but we have decided to make it possible to (partially) follow the course online, as described below. There will be some parts that are difficult to follow online, and we strongly advice physical attendance for every participant where this is safe and within authority guidelines. If you mainly participate physically this alternative also lets you participate online for some of the sessions if necessary.
We will use MS Teams as digital platform. During the lectures the lecturer's screen is shared and you can hear what is being said (and you can ask questions). We will also try to have a camera pointing towards the lecturer/blackboard, but this will in no way be a professional setup, and the quality may be of varying degree and in particular it may be difficult (or impossible) to see derivations/explanations/notes written on the board. We think that following the slides and what is being said will be enough to get a meaningful output of the course, but emphasize again that we have designed the course for physical attendance. Between lectures there are exercise sessions and during these it will be possible to ask questions via MS Teams.
To join the digital version of the course you can sign up for the course in MS Teams with the team code provided via Moodle if you have a AAU email account. For external participants you need to be manually added as a guest. Send an email to with the email address you want to use as a guest account for MS Teams.
